• Brian McDonie

    FOUNDER

I am an active musician, composer, entrepreneur, and educator in the arts. I believe that music is an integral part of society that enhances events and connects people, and I am passionate about creating the perfect piece of music to fit every need. After spending years as a military musician performing in ceremonies and writing or arranging music for those events, I decided to use my talents to help everyone enjoy custom-tailored music compositions. I love writing music that is engaging, memorable, and unique to the performance space and event.

  • Sarah McDonie

    CHIEF EDITOR

As a PhD candidate in musicology at Indiana University, I am passionate about writing and language, and the ways that music and sound shape and create our experiences. My research interests include exploring the intersections of cybernetics and experimental art and the relationships between art, media, and communication. I have worked as an editor on several print and digital media projects as well as music engraving. When I’m not doing my professional work, I enjoy good food, running, swimming, and going on adventures with my husband, Brian, and Manford, our charismatic sheltie.

    SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING

I am an opera singer pursuing a master’s degree at Indiana University. I love performing opera and learning about all kinds of music. If given the chance, I will talk your ear off about lesser-known 19th-century German song composers or about Satie (of Gymnopedie-fame) who reportedly walked a lobster on a leash around Paris. In addition to singing and studying, I am also deeply invested in arts leadership — or the inner workings behind artistic experiences. Through social media and marketing, I help connect people looking to mark special occasions with great music to the bespoke offerings of Opus One
